The new environmental legislation along with the related regulations in Turkey mandate new obligations for organisations.

For example, as per  the Environment Law, organisations are required to establish "Environmental Management Units" and to employ "Environment Officers".

This new regime of environmental impact management and monitoring in Turkey has started in November 2008 and a period of 18 months has been foreseen for organisations to abide with the mandates of the new regulations.

EBS has been offering a set of training modules for organisations required to harmonise their operations with the new regulatory regime.
